What happens when you remove passes from Apple wallet? ›

Some limited or single-use passes, such as boarding passes or event tickets, will be automatically hidden after they've expired. These passes are moved to a separate list where you can view, unhide or delete them: Unhiding a pass returns it to the main view of the Wallet app. Deleting a pass permanently removes it.

To delete a pass from your Apple or Google Pay wallet, open your wallet and select your Season Ticket. After opening your Season Ticket, select the 3 dots in the top righthand corner and select remove pass for Apple Wallet or remove for Google Pay.

If you have an unpaid balance, you might not be able to remove a payment method. Instead, change your payment method. If you still can't remove a payment method, contact Apple Support.

iPhone: Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > scroll down to Transaction Defaults and update your shipping address, email, and phone number. Apple Watch: In the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap Wallet & Apple Pay > scroll down to Transaction Defaults and update your shipping address, email, and phone number.

Automatically archive old passes: Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay, then turn on Hide Expired Passes.

You cannot delete single transactions but you can turn them off. They will restore if you back up your device since they are pushed from a different source.

On your iPhone, open the Wallet app. Tap the pass that you want to remove. Tap the More button . Tap Remove Pass, then confirm.

To show an expired pass, scroll to the bottom of the Wallet stack, tap View Expired Passes, choose the pass, then tap Unhide. , tap Pass Details, then tap Remove Pass.

"If you don't want to automatically hide your expired passes, you can turn this feature off in Wallet & Apple Pay settings on either your iPhone or Apple Watch. If you turn off Hide Expired Passes on one of your paired devices, these passes won't be hidden on your other paired device either."

If you can't remember your passcode when you try again, use a computer to put your iPhone in recovery mode. Recovery mode allows you to erase the iPhone, giving you access to set it up again. After you've erased your iPhone, you can restore your data and settings from a backup.

Since the Wallet app can't be deleted, but can be removed from the Home Screen, you should be able to locate it in the App Library, then simply drag it back to your preferred Home Screen page.
