When I open my Wallet app on my iPhone there is no "Edit Passes" button. How do I enter an Apple Store gift card for later use as payment?

I need to elaborate. First, my screen never said Edit Passes, it said Scan Code. I was able to enter one gift card and it appeared in my Wallet- that’s when the scan key disappeared. I have since removed the card and the key is back. Adding the gift card seems to be problematic.

You add gift cards in the iTunes app or the App Store app.
Launch iTunes. Swipe down to the bottom of the screen Tap on Redeem in the middle of the screen. Then you can add the card.
You can do it in the App Store by tapping on your account icon in the upper right. Then tap on Redeem Gift Card or Code.

Yes.
1. Scan code
2. Press “add” in Apple Store app.
3. Card appears in Wallet, but there is no “edit passes” key. I can enter noting else.
See screen shot. You will have to take my word that there is nothing below the gift card.

I entered a credit card. Here’s the screen:
Then I re-entered the Apple Rewards Card. Same result - no Edit Passes, no Scan Code. There is nothing below the Apple Rewards Card.

Thank you for your reply, but these cards are for the Apple Store. They are not valid for iTunes or the App Store.

Sorry looks like you never used wallet before as that’s the set up page. Can you scan the code? So is that the page your seeing now?

It gives me some options for that card or pass, one of which is to remove it. None of the options are to Edit Passes. If I remove it I then get the setup screen I posted above.
