Quick Start Your Stash – 2024 New Depositor Promotion

Looking to take control of your finances in 2024? If you’re a new customer or have not yet made a deposit into your Stash account prior to 01/01/24, you can earn up to $10.

To earn the first $5 promo, deposit at least $5 into your Personal or Smart Portfolio by 4/30/24.

After you earn Promo #1, you can earn an additional $5 by auto-investing into your Stash account. Keep reading to find out how you can earn the full $10.

Note: This promotion is only available to Stash customers who have not made their first deposit prior to 01/29/2024.

Quick Start Promotion Eligibility Criteria

Promo #1: When you make a deposit of at least $5 into your Personal Portfolio or Smart Portfolio, we’ll automatically give you $5 in your Personal Portfolio. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open a new Personal or Smart Portfolio.
  2. Complete at least a $5 deposit between 1/1/24-4/30/24 into your Smart or Personal Portfolio (deposit must be made into one account).
    1. Note: You must not have made any deposit prior to 1/28/24, and the deposit must be completed by 4/30/24. If your transfer is pending and does not post until after 4/30/24, you will not be eligible for this promotion.
  3. $5 will be credited to your Personal Portfolio within 48 hours of your deposit.

Promo #2: After you receive Promo #1, you can earn another $5. All you have to do is keep auto invest going for at least six consecutive months. Here’s how to do it:

Note: Your six month period starts when you make your first auto-investment

    1. Fulfill all Promo #1 criteria before 4/30/24.
    2. Set up and complete your first auto-invest deposit by 4/30/24 into any security in the same Portfolio for at least $1/month. You can also set up your auto-invest weekly or biweekly and still be eligible for this promotion.
      1. Note: If you set up auto-invest into your Cash to Invest and not a specific security, you will not be eligible for the promo.
    3. Have your auto-invest successfully deposit into the same Portfolio for six consecutive months.
      1. Note: You can change the investment you choose or even amount of your auto-invest, as long as the deposit is at least $1.
    4. $5 will be deposited into your Personal Portfolio at the end of the next month following your sixth month of auto invest.
      1. Example: You make your first auto-invest deposit in January. If you keep the auto-invest schedule through June, we’ll deposit the $5 promo by the end of July.

    1. The initial $5 deposit must be made into your Personal Portfolio or Smart Portfolio.
  2. Can I set up my auto invest for any account?
    1. Yes, but to qualify for the promotion, the auto-invest must be deposited into the same Portfolio for six consecutive months.
  3. Can I turn my auto invest off and then back on, and still receive the promo?
    1. No, your auto-invest must be made for six consecutive months without interruption.
  4. Why didn’t I receive the promo funds?
    1. If you met the eligibility criteria, and you still haven’t received your funds after the 48 hour or six month waiting period, please call Support at 800-205-5164 from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. ET Monday-Friday, and from 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. ET Saturday and Sunday, or email us at support@stash.com.
      1. Note: If you are still within the 48 hour or six month waiting period, please wait until the end of this period to contact us.
  5. I qualified for a promo, but received the wrong amount. What should I do?
    1. It’s likely that you have attempted to earn a different Stash promotion in the past, and it’s still linked to your account. To swap out your promo offer for the current Quick Start Your Stash promotion, please contact Support at 800-205-5164 so we can escalate your request.
  6. When can I remove the promotional funds from my Portfolio?
    1. The promo funds must remain in your account for 90 consecutive days after the date of deposit.
