There are especially difficult levels in TwoDots, either normal or marked with a "fire node" (hard).

Home Base[]
Level 9: You need 80 of each color in 33 moves, however the only squaring possibilities are around the gaps. In other words, you need to create a big square to complete the level.
Under the Sea[]
Level 13: Before 2015, you had to sink 2 anchors on ramps in 6 moves. However, it gives you a free bomb drop as 1 final move.
Levels 27, 34, and 35: You just need to make squares and you're fine.
Ice Mountain[]
Level 42: It really isn’t that hard if you don’t go too fast.
Level 57: This level is pretty hard because you may not find squares and that is a problem because then you may not grab 111 of each color in the number of moves.
Red Leaf Forest[]
Level 70: One of the hardest levels to get 3 stars due to the rather low move count and objectives.
Level 75: You do not need to clear all of the fire, and squares will open up the cradle for an EASIER level than PlayDOTS thought.
Level 85: The final level in the first version. It will take a little time to beat, not to mention PlayDOTS buffed it with the release of Barren Wastes.
Barren Wastes[]
Level 104: The board isn’t so good and it’s hard to beat with multiple moves remaining.
Level 110: You can't really tell it's a hard level.
Outer Space[]
Level 117: Similar to an older version of level 31 in Candy Crush Saga.
Level 135: Ultra Hard. Teleporters will block anchors and move them around too much.
