When do I need to generate the Transaction Authorization Code?

You will need to input the

Transaction Authorization Code (TAC)

when you perform the below internet banking transactions:

Adding a new payee

  • Add new payee (Other Citibank Account).
  • Add payee (Pay by Electronic Transfer).
  • Add payee (Pay an individual with Citibank Global Transfer).
  • Add payee (Pay by Telegraphic Transfer).
  • Add payee (Pay by Cheque).
  • Add payee (Pay other bank's Credit Card).
  • Add payee (Pay Billing Organisation)*.

* You can opt to use Online Authorization Code (OAC) to activate payee. OAC can be obtained via SMS or calling CitiPhone Hotline at (65) 6225 5225 with your T-PIN.

Performing a high-value funds transfer
