What is Citibank Token?
Citi Mobile® Token is a feature within the Citi Mobile® app that can generate a One-Time PIN (OTP) for your online banking transactions, as an alternative authentication method to One-Time PIN (OTP) via SMS. The Citi Mobile® Token can only be enabled on one mobile device.
You can enable the Citi Mobile® Token in 3 easy steps: 1) Log in to Citi Mobile® App and go to "Profile", choose "Manage Citi Mobile® Token". 2) Confirm Citi Mobile® Token activation by entering One-Time Password (OTP), which you will receive via SMS. 3) Create your 6-digit Citi Mobile® Token Unlock Code.
In order to activate "Mobile Token", you need to have a personal Internet Banking account, activate auto-lock function and install the latest version of BOCHK Mobile App on your mobile phone and register a valid mobile number with the Bank.
On www.privatebank.citibank.com, enter your User Name and Password in the Sign In box. Hold the red "OTP" button for 2 seconds. The six-digit code will appear in the window of the security token.

Mobile Token is used to generate one-time passwords and authorize transactions. Both: in the on-line and mobile channels.
- Log in to your Citibank Online account and follow this path: Services > My Profile > De-activate Citi Mobile® Token.
- Enable Citi Mobile® Token on another mobile device. Citi Mobile® Token will automatically be disabled on the mobile phone you lost.
- Call CitiPhone Banking at (65) 6225 5225.
- Go to My Settings in CitiDirect BE and sign up to use MobilePASS login.
- Upon Security Manager approval, download the SafeNet® MobilePASS app on your smartphone.*
- Create your CitiDirect BE MobilePASS login profile using activation information provided by Citi.
What happens if you don't activate a credit card. Your account is considered open from the date you're approved for the card. If you don't activate your card your account will still be open, you just won't be able to use it.
- Launch your digibank App and select Digital Token.
- Tap on Set Up Now.
- Log in to digibank Mobile with your Touch / Face ID or digibank User ID & PIN.
- Tap on Set Up Now.
- Select Physical Token and a 6 digit SMS OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
How does digital token work?
