Why am I getting a "Payment Authorization Failed" when trying to buy things in The Elder Scrolls: Legends store?
This error could be caused by several different issues. Please trythe following troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem:
- Contact your financial institution andensure thatthey are not blocking the charge on their side.
- Check to see if Javascript is enabled in your web browser's default settings. If there are any programs that could be blocking Javascript, such as an anti-virus, firewall or web security program, please disable them temporarily while attempting the transaction. If you are receiving a popup asking to run thescript, accept this prompt to run Javascript for the transaction.
- Clear your browser's cookies and try again.
- Try a different payment method, such as PayPal or Paysafe card.
There are many possible reasons for a credit card not being accepted:
- The card is expired
- You have reached or exceeded your credit limit
- You have exceeded your daily charge limit
- A computer at either end of the transaction is having technical problems
- Card does not support the required currency
