Can you get a refund on Steam over 2 hours? ›Refunds on Titles Purchased Prior to Release Date
When you purchase a title on Steam prior to the release date, the two-hour playtime limit for refunds will apply (except for beta testing), but the 14-day period for refunds will not start until the release date.
Note that Valve-developed Steam games will offer refunds within 48 hours of purchase, but other developers have to enable the option for refunds first. You also can't get a refund on video purchases unless it was available in a bundle with non-video items.
