Unlocking Slime King[]
Slime King is the reward for beating wave 20 of The Joint Revenge(normal mode), and cannot be earned any other way prior to this. Afterwards, He also becomes available from all normal summons, like any other legendary monster.
Mechanics[]
Slime King has range of 1.5 rock lengths, and type-less attack with splash damage. He has slow attack speed.
It's Power Description is as follows:
"Shoots gems to attack him enemies. Attack: XXX Speed: Slow''
When attacking, He shoots a shining gem. He is really powerful, cheap to upgrade, and possesses one of the most powerful wave clears in the game:
Special Power: The King Slam. "Slams the ground with all his weight to stun enemies for 2s" dealing damage equal to a normal attack, but attacking and stunning every enemy on the battleground. Furthermore, it's activation range is infinite, meaning enemies only need to be on the map for it to activate.

As with all main DPS monsters, placing him between Mighty and Speedy is the best way to use him for intermediate Classic Maps. In this case, place him in the middle row.

Speedy can decreaseHis ability charging time(base charging time is very long), thus increasing His DPS a lot.
Other than being a main DPS, Slime King is mostly used as a global stunner in the late game. Pairing him with Horus/Speedy, they can stun enemies on the screen very frequently which makes him the second best stunner after Archimedes in the game.
Usage[]
Slime King's most common usage is as a main DPS during JR normal/hard, after Stacky/Infernus or as an alternative to Kevin. Whether you choose Slime King or Kevin is entirely personal choice, so use whichever you prefer. However, one thing to note is that Kevin has a longer normal attack range and higher damage, making him a better front line DPS, and can deal any of the three elemental damage types, making him much more viable for the elemental challenges, while Slime King's special is one of the most powerful global stuns in the game.
It is recommended to not use him along with another aoe stun/freeze such as Archimedes, as their abilities don't synergize well and often interrupt each other.
