Unlocking Amaterasu[]
Amaterasu can be unlocked via "Epic Mythical" summons.
Mechanics[]
Amaterasu has a medium-large range and a single-target attack. Its attack speed is medium.
Special power: Yatagarasu. "A flare bright enough to rival the sun deals continuous fire damage to the enemy unlucky enough to be caught in it" Nearly identical to Felina's special power, right down to the 10x damage it deals. Only real difference is that it deals fire damage.
Amaterasu is an incredible damage dealer with similar functionality to Felina, though she is far more powerful, much cheaper, and has the benefit of dealing fire damage.
Synergies:[]
Amaterasu goes well with a combo of Amaterasu-Speedy-Jiraya. However, the most common usage is to use Mighty(or Hellhound)-Amaterasu-Speedy(or Horus) in the back row, and equipping her with a charm to reduce special ability cooldown. For elemental challenges, adding The King in Yellow anywhere on the field has proven universally effective, because, despite Cosmic Damage only dealing half damage to ice, fire, and lightning type enemies, Amaterasu's base damage more than makes up for it, and her special's ability to hit all enemies on the map simultaneously ensures she won't be frozen or stunned by Ice Spirits and Lightning Spirits. In fact, that setup is the current META for both Ice Queen's Tempest and Wrath of the Volcano Goddess.
