How do I set up Polygon Matic on MetaMask? ›

If the MATIC token doesn't show up in your MetaMask wallet, there are a few possible reasons for this: 1. Token not added: By default, MetaMask displays a limited number of tokens in the wallet interface. If you haven't manually added the MATIC token to your MetaMask wallet, it won't appear in the token list.

Polygon is an EVM-compatible network, which means you can use your MetaMask wallet to access dapps on Polygon. You will have the same address. You just need to make sure you have Polygon added as a network in MetaMask, and switch between Ethereum and Polygon as appropriate.
