What is the Promotion?

Invited sellers (“Sellers”) who activate the offer and update existing or create listings to allow for free 30-day returns (seller pays return shipping with no restocking fees) will be eligible to have eBay pay return shipping costs for Eligible Listings sold during the Promotion Period and returned for remorse reasons during the Promotion Period and for 40 days thereafter.

You must activate the offer to qualify.

Who’s eligible?

This Promotion is available to Sellers who: (i) received an email and/or message in My eBay; (ii) activated the Promotion; and (iii) meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards. Please sign in to My eBay and view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.

Promotion details

The Promotion starts at 12:00AM PT on June 1, 2018 and ends at 11:59PM PT on June 15, 2018. (the “Promotion Period”).

Sellers must update or create listings to allow for free 30-day returns such that seller pays return shipping costs and does not charge any restocking fees on items returned 30 days after the later of the estimated delivery date or confirmed delivery date (“Eligible Listings”). Such listings must be in the categories specified in the Restrictions & Exclusions section below, and may not include listings or purchases for which freight shipping is required.

During the Promotion Period, eBay will pay the return shipping cost for any Eligible Listings that are sold during the Promotion Period and for which any such applicable buyer requests a return (“Eligible Returns”) based on the following reasons (“Remorse Returns”) during the Promotion Period and for 40 days thereafter: poor fit, change of mind, discovered better price, did not like item, ordered by mistake.

Eligible Returns include only those returns processed through eBay’s online returns flow and for which seller and buyer use an eBay return label. For all Eligible Returns, Sellers shall pay the cost of such returns, including return shipping, and eBay will issue credit for the amount of such costs. This credit will appear on the Seller’s invoice within 60 days after the Promotion Period ends, if not sooner.

During the Promotion Period, eBay may, in its sole discretion, promote Seller’s Eligible Listings, which may include promotion on the eBay Site, appropriate category pages on the eBay Site, through eBay’s affiliate’s web sites if applicable, and in emails to eBay users.

Restrictions & Exclusions

  • All listings must comply with all applicable eBay policies, including eBay’s Duplicate Listing policy that allows for the removal of duplicate fixed price listings.
  • Return label payout will be capped at $200 per invited seller.
  • The Promotion excludes listings that are scheduled to go live after the Promotion Period.
  • The Promotion is applicable to US site listings and domestic transactions only.
  • The Promotion excludes items shipped via freight.
  • This Promotion does not change any fees due from Seller to eBay. Seller shall also pay eBay’s fees as set forth in the eBay Policies and any other agreement between Seller and eBay, all of which will be based on the non-discounted price and final value of Eligible Items, even if a Coupon was redeemed
