How to cancel multiple SSS Numbers and consolidate all contributions and loans into one?

All SSS members should only have ONE SSS Number in their whole lifetime. Even if you had an SSS Number long time ago and was inactive, your SS Number is the same when you continue contributing in the SSS.

If you happen to forgot your SSS Number, you may retrieve your SSS Number by following any of the steps provided on in this link – How to Know your Forgotten SSS Number?

If you have two or more SSS Numbers then it will cause delay in the processing of your benefits.

  1. Bring your Birth Certificate and Valid ID (containing your Full Name and Date of Birth)
  2. Go to the nearest SSS branch
Ask the guard or information booth for an SSS Number verification slip, fill it up and submit to the Verification Counter.
  3. Request cancellation of your other SSS Number (if any)
If the SSS Officer confirmed that you have multiple SSS Number, you should request for the cancellation of the number/s and the consolidation of all contributions under the retained number. From then on, the retained SSS Number should be used in all transactions with SSS. You may submit your retained SSS Number to the HR Officer of your company so that your SSS Contributions and loan payments (if any) will be posted on the retained SSS Number.
