Floor game | board game:Twister - Milton Bradley Company - Google Arts & Culture (2024)

Milton Bradley introduced the game Twister in 1966. Unique at that time, Twister required players to place various body parts on polka dots printed on a floor mat. For the very first time, players posed as game pieces! Sales dragged, though, until Johnny Carson played the game on his television talk show with the lovely actress Eva Gabor. Soon the game flew off store shelves, and it is still popular with young children today.
