You can copy and paste or share a page or image with its web address or URL.

Get an image URL

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app Find the URL of a page or image - Android (1), Chrome app Find the URL of a page or image - Android (2), or Firefox.
  2. Go to images.google.com.
  3. Search for the image.
  4. In Images results, tap the image to get a larger version.
  5. Copy the image URL based on your browser:
    • Google app: At the top right of the image, tap More Find the URL of a page or image - Android (3) Find the URL of a page or image - Android (4) Share Find the URL of a page or image - Android (5) Find the URL of a page or image - Android (6) Copy Find the URL of a page or image - Android (7).
    • Chrome app: At the top right of the image, tap More Find the URL of a page or image - Android (8) Find the URL of a page or image - Android (9) Share Find the URL of a page or image - Android (10) Find the URL of a page or image - Android (11) Copy link Find the URL of a page or image - Android (12).
    • Firefox: At the bottom right of the image, tap Share Find the URL of a page or image - Android (13). Under “Tap to copy link,” tap the URL.

Tip: The image URL starts with https://images.app.goo.gl/ or https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl.

Add a copied URL

After you copy a URL, it saves to your device’s clipboard.

To add or paste the URL:

  1. Touch and hold the text field.
  2. Tap Paste.

Get a search results page URL

Important: You can’t get a search results page URL with the Google app.

For a webpage

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open a mobile browser like the Chrome app Find the URL of a page or image - Android (14) or Firefox.
  2. Go to google.com.
  3. Search for the page.
  4. Copy the URL based on your browser:
    • Chrome: Tap the address bar. Below the address bar, next to the page URL, tap Copy Find the URL of a page or image - Android (15).
    • Firefox: Tap and hold the address bar. Tap Copy.

For an image

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open a mobile browser like the Chrome app Find the URL of a page or image - Android (16) or Firefox.
  2. Go to images.google.com.
