On October 15, 2021, the My Maps app for Android devices will be shut down and removed from the Play Store.

To continue to use My Maps on your mobile device, open your web browser and go to mymaps.google.com.

Tip: To use My Maps through a web browser, you must be connected to the internet. You can’t use My Maps offline.

Can I still use the maps I created?

Yes, the maps are still available. On your mobile device, you can find them:

  • In the Google Maps app, at the bottom of the “Saved" tab
  • On mymaps.google.com through a web browser app

Are there differences between the My Maps Android app and My Maps on the web?
