Gameplay[]

Cube Section 1[]

The level starts with a cube section where platforms, spikes, blue jump orbs and yellow jump pads appear. A one-block slab leads into the next short section.

Wave Section 1[]

A very short mini wave section starts where two steep slope obstacles force the wave to go up and down.

Cube Section 2[]

That goes into another cube section where platforms, spikes, blue jump orbs and green jump orbs appear with some of the jump orbs being fake. The cube goes through a teleportation portal and platforms, blue jump orbs, yellow jump orbs, green jump orbs, blue jump pads and a yellow jump pad appear. Two green jump orbs lead into the next section.

Wave Section 2[]

The green jump orbs lead into a 3x speed wave section where a narrow path is formed by normal slopes. It begins with a straight-waving segment, goes up and down into an upside-down portal, goes up and down again, another straight-waving segment, goes up into a right-side-up portal and goes up and down once more.

Ship Section 1[]

After that, a 2x mini ship section starts where moving blocks with spikes on the top and bottom of them move up and down, starting with down.

Ball Section 1[]

The ship section goes to a 2x speed ball section where blue and red blocks indicate which platforms are safe to go on. This section also features spikes, blue jump orbs, green jump orbs, a pink jump pad and a yellow jump orb.

UFO Section 1[]

A green jump orb leads into a 2x mini UFO section where four platforms are stationary with an upside-down and right-side-up portal between two of them. After this, four other platforms move up and down, starting with down.

Cube Section 3[]

Then, a 1x speed cube section begins where platforms, spikes and a green jump orb appear. The green jump orb leads into a teleportation portal where the cube enters a 2x speed cube part where platforms, spikes, yellow jump orbs and a blue jump orb appear.

Robot Section 1[]

Once the cube jumps off of a platform, it enters a 1x speed robot section where spikes, platforms and a blue jump orb appear. The blue jump orb leads to a teleportation portal that also leads to an upside-down 2x speed robot part where more platforms and spikes appear.

Ball Section 2[]

A yellow jump pad starts a half speed ball section up where platforms, spikes, and a teleportation portal that lead into a 1x speed ball part. In that part, platforms, spikes, green jump orbs and a teleportation portal that lead to a few spikes and platforms. A 2x speed ball part starts after this where yellow jump pads, spikes, platforms, blue jump orbs, two teleportation portals and a yellow jump orb appear.

Cube Section 4[]

The yellow jump orb leads into another 1x speed cube section where platforms, spikes, green jump orbs, blue jump pads and blue jump orbs appear. In one of the parts, the blue jump orbs and pads are sometimes mixed together.

Robot Section 2[]

That leads into another 2x speed robot section where saws, platforms, spikes, green jump orbs, yellow jump orbs and a blue jump orb appear. At the end of the robot section, some text appears, stating "I like this part:)".

Ship Section 2[]

That goes into a 2x speed ship section where spikes, upside-down/right-side-up portals and teleportation portals appear that move the ship along a certain path.

UFO Section 2[]

Then, a UFO section begins where three Big Beasts appear and shoot lasers in this order: Middle, top and bottom and lastly top, bottom and slightly above bottom. Saws are strewn around in specific places.

Wave Section 3[]

After that, a 3x speed dual wave section starts where slopes create another straight-waving segment, along with a less tight one after going up once. The wave goes up and down once more after that. Then, a singular mini wave part starts where steep slopes create a pretty narrow path for the mini wave. At the end of the wave section, the mini wave has to straight-wave to avoid hitting the normal slopes.

Ship Section 3[]

After that straight-waving part, a 2x speed ship section begins where blocks with some spikes on it move in a very specific order: Middle down, next line down, two lines of blocks down and next row backwards. A teleportation portal leads to another part with the same ordeal, but with a mini ship instead. The pattern for this part is: down after the second teleportation portal, up, right and then down and the last one moves upwards.

Ball Section 3[]

That leads into a half speed ball section where three moving platforms fly from right to left: One at the botton, two at the top. This section also features blue jump orbs, spikes, yellow jump orbs and a green jump orb.

UFO Section 3[]

After the green jump orb, a 2x speed UFO section begins where four platforms with spikes at the front move up and down, starting with down. The UFO will then go 3x speed and five more of those platforms move in the same way as they did before. This leads to the last section of the level.

Cube Section 5[]

The last section is a 1x speed cube section where platforms, spikes and sawblades appear. The level ends with one transparent spike on a platform.

Hard Parts[]

Deadlocked is currently considered to be the hardest Main Level in the game. It contains tight wave and ship corridors and has some tricky timings.

The parts that are most well-known for being really hard are the second and third wave sections. They force the player to straight-wave through a pretty tight corridor. Once as a normal wave and another time as a dual wave. These parts will take a lot of practice before you can beat them and these are the parts you will most likely die to the most.

The other tricky bit in this level is present in the second ship section. The ship has to maneuver through a long corridor of teleportation portals and spikes without any platforms pretty accurately, which will be hard for some people. However, this part is way easier than the wave parts for sure, so you can definitely get used to them.

One interesting thing about Deadlocked is that about half of the level is pretty easy as long as you practice enough. There's a lot of breaks inbetween the hard parts, which make it seem like it's not that hard.

Coins[]

In Deadlocked, there are 3 Secret Coins that are available to grab. The first coin is considered to be the hardest and the third coin is considered to be the trickiest.

Coin 1[]

The first coin is located in the first ship section and in the fourth cube section. In the first ship section, there is a blue key above one of the moving blocks. If you're able to reach it without dying, a wall opens up in the fourth cube section that reveals the coin.

Coin 2[]

The second coin is located in the second robot section. This coin can be seen on a pillar that seems unreachable. There are three ways of getting this coin:

  • By waiting and jumping. In the wall before you reach the coin, there are two fake blocks you can go through and jump out of to reach the coin.
  • By doing a small jump. If you do a small jump before you hit the green jump orb, you can also reach the coin, as long as you don't hit the sawblades above.
  • By hitting the green jump orb immediately and jumping at full power. Once this is done, the robot will hit the coin and go on safely.

Coin 3[]

The third Secret Coin is located in the second UFO section. Once the first Big Beast shoots his laser, a coin can be seen above the laser. If you do a certain pattern in your UFO clicks, you can reach this coin without dying.

Trivia[]

  • The difficulty of this level is very controversial. Some say it's a Medium Demon, others say it's an Easy Demon. However, the Level is canonically an Easy Demon, due to the fact that when people beat Deadlocked, their Easy Demon count on their Account Page goes up as of Version 2.205.
  • The text "I like this part:)" eludes to the fact that RobTop either liked making the second ship section or just liked the overall gameplay and aesthetic of it.
