Cyan is one of the colors in Among Us that players can select and customize.It was added on April 24 2019 during version 2019.4.24. They appear to be a close acquaintance with Green and Orange.

In the wallet that Crewmates see when they are doing the tasks Swipe Card or Enter Id Code, they can see a picture of Green, Orange, and Cyan. This could imply that Cyan is Green and Orange's child or younger sibling, as Cyan is considerably smaller than the other two and was introduced to the game sometime after Orange and Green were brought into the game.
Cyan was originally in a prototype build of Among Us but then was removed in the original game.
- The color was later added along with Lime in version 2019.4.24.^[1]
Cyan is found in the Luxury Escape Pod option in the Valiant Hero ending in Completing the Mission.
Cyan is sometimes called "light blue" or "sky blue" by players.
Cyan is one of the colors most used in promotional material, behind Red and others.
The dummy Crewmates in Practice cannot become Cyan.
In the star bundles of the shop, Cyan can be seen holding or bathing in stars.
In the community, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Cyan was voted or accused without evidence at a higher frequency than other colors. This generated a meme in the community called "cyanophobia", which was a type of "combat" against prejudice against Cyans. Ironically, this worked as the frequency of false accusations against Cyan decreased.^{[citation needed]}
