Currency (2024)

Currencies are items which are not stored in the Backpack, but are tracked by a background counter instead. When the amount of any currency in your possession changes, its counter is displayed in the top left of the screen together with a currency-specific interface icon.

Coins

Coins are the main currency in the game. The have Raccoon’s face on them. Because of that they are known as “raccoins” among the players, though that name never appears in the game.

One of the skiers in the Lodge asks whether Sasquatch ever thought why there is the Raccoon's face on the coins.

Almost every store accepts them, and almost every activity earns you some coins. For a quick money in the beginning of the game, call Money Hotline - you can get 600 coins by calling each number, enough to buy most of the useful items in the Raccoon shop.

Bank account

Sasquatch can put coins into the bank account and pay with card. Coins can be deposited or withdrawn at any ATM. The following purchases require card instead of coins:

• renting an apartment
• buying a boat at the Boat Dealership
• buying more expensive items in the Clothing Store

Some jobs like R Corp or the Police pay Sasquatch via the bank account.

Arcade Tickets

Arcade prize tickets can be earned by playing Arcade games. Playing hurdle jumper will reward 1 ticket per 100 points. Playing Super Quest will reward 250 tickets per win. Playing parking master will reward a variable amount of tickets, depending on the accuracy and timing of the park.

Arcade Tickets can be exchanged for a mystery disk (5 tickets), a Wrist Watch (50 tickets), or the Go Kart (250 tickets).

Lumber

Lumber can be bought with coins at the Sawmill. A pack of 100 boards cost 1675 coins, and a pack of 75 costs 1300 coins. You can also steal it from the Port. Lumber can be used to upgrade your house with Construction Duck, to construct the museum, and to build in your Island Campground.

Only lumber which is stored at the Construction Duck workshop is tracked by a currency counter. It is also visually stacked near the workshop.

Underwater Trash

Underwater Trash are various discarded items which can be found underwater while Scuba Diving. The Scuba Specialist asks you to collect it and submit to him in exchange for your scuba gear upgrades.

Small items award only 1 trash. Medium items are 2 trash. Large items like tires and shopping carts award 10 trash, but take longer to collect.

After all upgrades are bought, you can exchange trash for 8 coins each.

Halloween currencies

Halloween Candy and Prize Tickets are awarded for Halloween activities. You can trade them in for prizes like decorations for your house and costumes. Halloween Candy can also be eaten like normal food, filling 1 hunger point each.

Candy Canes

Candy Canes are earned by participating in Snowball Fights or building snowmen at the Snowball Fights Arena during Winter Holidays. You can trade them in for prizes such as costumes and decorations for your house. The candy canes can also be eaten like normal food, filling 1 hunger point each.

Dog “currencies”

Tennis Balls and Waste Bags bought from the Pet Shop are tracked in the interface in a manner identical to currencies.

Camera Film

Camera Film is bought in the Camera Club, for 100 coins per 10 pictures.

Cellphone minutes

The minutes for the Cellular Phone are bought at a rate of 200 coins for 300 minutes, and are spent when talking via the cellphone. They are spent even faster in remote areas where the phone is in roaming.

They are spent in real time, so it’s recommended to read the text bubbles quickly.
