By now, you are hearing a lot about digital money (CBDC – central bank digital currency). Central Bank Digital Currency is controlled (enforced) by a central bank. This is not the same as cryptocurrency because neither can be governed by a single entity. As they progress towards this system, it might be important to know what it is.

According to Investopedia, it states;

Central bank digital currencies are digital tokens, similar to cryptocurrencies, issued by a central bank.They are pegged to the value of that country’s fiat currency.

Doesn’t that sound fantastic? So, who determines this fiat rate? Well, according to Investopedia; the government determines it.

The value of fiat money is derived from the relationship between supply and demand and the stability of theissuing government, rather than the worth of a commodity backing it.

To understand how this currency will affect your life, we will dive deeper into this new digital currency.

CBDC Testing With Banks and Rolling Out Globally

The CBDC is rolling out testing with certain banks, such as Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Bank of America, and more. Do you bank at any of these banks or have a credit card with them? More banks are requesting to be a part of this new digital currency. Currently, “Federal Reserve Launches 12-Week CBDC Pilot Program With Major Banks” by Wine Press.

A United States central bank digital currency (CBDC) is coming even closer to fruition, as the New York Federal Reserve announced yesterday that they will be partnering with some of the largest megabanks in the country to perform a trial run of these new CBDCs.

CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA

The Central Bank of Nigeria announced that individuals and businesses can only withdraw an allotted amount of ₦100,000 ($225 in U.S. dollars) up to ₦500,000 ($1,126.03 in U.S. dollars) per week. If they go over this limit, processing fees of 5% up to 10% will be added. The maximum amount for a point of sale (PoS) terminal is ₦20,000 ($45 in U.S. Dollars) daily.

In an article by Leo Hohmann, he says;

… mega-banks announcing similarly creepy new policies in recent months in China, India, Russia, Brazil, Sweden, the U.S. and many other nations, all pointing to an imminent switch over to a global digital money system.

In the U.S., the Federal Reserve put out an announcement in November that it is launching a 12-week “pilot program” to test out a new central bank digital currency, or CBDC, with six major banks.

Thursday’s announcement in Nigeria is also a big deal because Nigeria is one of only nine countries that have already launched an official CBDC.

Nigeria serves as a model for other countries to emulate. The U.S. will not be far behind in implementing this digital currency.

BANKS AROUND THE WORLD

As of today, 11 countries have implemented the CBDC, and more than 100 are considering this new digital currency. You can find a list of these countries that have adopted the CBDC and those who are considering it. Take a look at the website “Atlantic Counsel”.

As of today (12-12-2022), 11 countries have activated the digital currency.

They advertise this new way of doing things as something that is good for you. The big pitch to get on board with this is, you don’t have to wait for your money (22:00 time). You can get it quicker by using this digital system.

Many things are being said about this new digital currency, but the only way to know where this is truly going is through scripture.

CBDC Warnings of What is Coming

The individuals responsible for bringing about this new system should cause everyone to be concerned about their financial freedom.

This digital system will become worldwide if all countries agree to accept the CBDC. Because this is in the works,I am guessing it has already been accepted by world leaders.

However, many individuals have refused to accept the decision to give their government complete authority over their money. What could go wrong? And why would you not want someone else to control your hard-earned cash?

Connecting the CBDC to Digital Identity

The new digital currency will be connected to a new identity card.

During an appearance at a Banque de France (Bank of France) event, the chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, said if the US were to pursue a central bank digital currency (CBDC), it would be “identity verified” and “not anonymous.”

“We would be looking to balance privacy protection with identity verification, which…has to be done, of course, in today’s traditional banking system as well,” Powell added.

CBDC Will Usher in the Great Reset

They want to integrate the CBDC into the Great Reset, Digital Identity, Smart Cities, Tracking, and the list goes on. In other words, if you are studying China’s way of life, this will be worldwide, including the United States. This is not about getting your money faster for the items you need, as they say.

A CBDC would eliminate the need for commercial banks as transactions would take place directly between the central bank and the retail consumer.

This “great reset” requires Herculean printing. “Renewable/green” requires printing. Supporting the most corrupt country in Europe (Ukraine) requires printing. This printing requires that rates NOT be raised.This is where I see a conflict.

But, God has laid out His plan for the world in His word.In God’s word, we are told the one world monetary system will be under the control of one person, the Antichrist. This is how the one world money will work.

Believers see and understand why these events are happening. We also understand that as we move closer to the time of the Tribulation, we are moving closer to the rapture of Christ’s bride. Except for the fact that it occurs before the Tribulation, there are no signs of the rapture.

How far do we go into the days of Lot and Noah? That is a good question. The answer, be constantly looking for the Savior’s return.
