Will I pay a cash in fee when I Cash In via 7-Eleven?

Yes, there will be a 2% cash in fee when adding money to your PayMaya account through a 7-Eleven branch. However, as long as you have not cashed in more than Php 10,000.00 for that month, the 2% will be refunded to your account.

If your cash in amount for the month has exceeded the Php 10,000.00 monthly threshold, then the 2% cash in fee will not be refunded and will serve as your cash in fee.

What is the 2% Cash In fee for?

It serves as our processing fee when you cash in through over-the-counter channels. However, remember that it will be refunded to your account as long as your monthly cash ins have not exceeded the Php 10,000.00 threshold.

Alternatively, you can also make use of digital channels such as online and mobile banking so you can cash in with both safety and convenience. This way, you can avoid physically handling cash during the current pandemic.

How do I Cash In to my PayMaya account through 7-Eleven?

You can cash in or add money to your PayMaya account through any 7-Eleven branch by following these simple steps:

  1. Log in to the PayMaya app.
  2. Tap the “Add Money” icon on the home screen.
  3. Choose 7-Eleven among the list of Add Money partners.
  4. Type in the desired amount and press “continue”.
  5. Visit your preferred 7-Eleven branch and present the app’s generated barcode along with your payment to the cashier.
  6. Wait for the SMS confirmation of your successful transaction.

And that’s it! By following the said steps, you can easily cash in to your PayMaya account at any 7-Eleven branch.

How is the cash in fee computed by different PayMaya Cash In partner channels?

The cash in fee is set at 2% of the total cash in amount. However, this amount will be refunded back to your account if you have not reached the Php 10,000.00 monthly cash in threshold.

As an example, let’s say you want to add Php 1,000 to your PayMaya account through 7-Eleven. The computation will then be as follows:

Php 1,000.00 x 2% - Php 20.00

Php 1,000 + Php 20.00 = Php 1,020.0

The total amount you will need to pay at the 7-Eleven cashier will then be Php 1,020.00 for this transaction. Afterwards, you will receive an SMS confirmation that Php 1,000 has been credited to your PayMaya account. And as long as your cash in amount has not exceeded Php 10.000.00 for that month, then the Php 20.00 will be returned as a refund to your PayMaya account.

Once you have cashed in more than Php 10,000.00 for the month, however, then the Php 20.00 in this example will not be refunded and will serve as your cash in fee. This will then continue until the first day of the succeeding month, when the monthly limit will reset and you can once again enjoy cash in fee refunds.

How will I know if I was charged with the correct cash in fee?

Successful cash ins will be recorded as an update on your PayMaya app’s activity list. From here, you can check the received money and the cash in fee to PayMaya for the transaction.

How can I tell if I still qualify for a Cash In rebate?

You can follow the steps from the previous question to access the PayMaya app’s Account Limits page. From here, you can keep track of your monthly limits. As long as your cash in amount for the month is not more than Php 10,000.00, then you will still qualify for a cash in rebate.

For partner channels that do not charge fees, you will not receive any refund as only channels with cash in fees are eligible for cash in fee refunds.

My Cash In fee refund is still uncredited. What do I do?

All refunds for cash in fees for accounts that have not reached the Php 10,000.00 monthly threshold should be received within 24 hours after the transaction. If your monthly cash in amount has not exceeded this threshold and the amount is not yet credited to your PayMaya account within this time, please feel free to contact us through our official support channels:
