Is it better to relist or sell similar on eBay? ›

If they have a very recent (last 7 days or so) sales history relist is OK, otherwise sell similar every time. This can be avoided by deleting the item from your unsold list straight after putting it back on using 'sell similar'.

You should keep in mind that ending and then selling similar will count as a new listing, which could eat up your free listings you receive with your store.

Selling similar tells eBay that you are selling a new item. This gives it a small boost in the ranking. However, you will lose the watchers and any good sales history.
