We are very proud to be listed on Binance.com as the first BEP2 community listing project.
Binance will list Ankr (ANKR) and open trading for ANKR/BNB, ANKR/BTC, ANKR/USDT, ANKR/PAX, ANKR/TUSD and ANKR/USDC trading pairs at 2019/07/23 2:00 PM (UTC).
This listing marks the next major milestone after our mainnet launch earlier this month, and will help us increase liquidity of the Ankr token across all major exchanges.
We want to sincerely thank the Binance team for believing in our project and listing our Ankr token on Binance.com at a listing fee of 0 BNB!

How to trade Ankr tokens on Binance.com?
As we all know by now, the Ankr token exists in three formats: the Ankr ERC-20 token, our native Ankr token and the Binance Chain based Ankr BEP-2 token.
It is very important to know that Binance.com has listed the Ankr BEP-2 token!
In this article, we would like to explain to you once again how to convert your Ankr ERC-20 tokens, the ones you are trading on exchanges such as Upbit, Bittrex, Bithumb, Bitmax and Kucoin, to the Ankr BEP-2 format, which is traded on Binance.com and Binance DEX.
Please follow these steps to convert your Ankr ERC-20 tokens to the BEP-2 format.
- Create a Binance Chain BEP-2 wallet on www.binance,org
- Create an Ankr Wallet on app.ankr.com
- Convert your Ankr ERC-20 tokens to the Ankr BEP-2 format. Your Ankr BEP-2 tokens will be transferred to your Binance Chain address immediately
- Now you can then transfer and trade your Ankr BEP-2 tokens on Binance.com and Binance DEX.
Important notes!
Binance is listing the BEP2 version of ANKR as the default token. Users will only be able to withdraw the BEP2 version of ANKR tokens.
You may deposit ERC20 ANKR tokens to your Binance account by depositing to your ETH deposit address.
The ANKR token asset page is available on the Binance Chain explorer here https://explorer.binance.org/asset/ANKR-E97 .
ANKR mainnet tokens will not be accepted for deposits/withdrawals.
The swap procedure is explained below, in an easy-to-follow step by step process.
Step by step guide to convert and trade your Ankr tokens on Binance.com
Before you can convert your Ankr ERC-20 tokens, you need to create a Binance Chain wallet and register an Ankr wallet. Then you can convert your Ankr tokens to the Binance Chain BEP-2 format.
The Ankr wallet is a live and ready to use web-based application, you can find it here.
Please follow the next steps to create an Ankr wallet and convert your Ankr tokens to the Binance Chain BEP-2 format which can be traded on either Binance DEX or the Binance.com exchange.
We will also explain how to transfer Ankr tokens from Binance DEX to Binance.com at the end of this article.
First you need a Binance Chain BEP-2 wallet, you can create it on www.binance.org
The entire process is also explained in this YouTube tutorial.
1. Create a Binance Chain BEP-2 wallet
To start, navigate to www.binance.org and click “Create Wallet” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
You will be prompted with a tutorial on how to create a wallet directly on the website.
As a Binance DEX user, you will hold full custody of your funds. No one, not even Binance will be able to help you recover your wallet if you lose your private key, mnemonic phrase or keystore file.
Upon creating a wallet, the following will be generated for you. Please store them securely.
- A keystore file (encrypted & password protected), which contains your private key along with your public key and address (both of which are derived from your private key). This file is encrypted and password protected. This is the recommended way to access your wallet if you do not have access to a supported hardware device.
- A mnemonic phrase, which is generated based on a BIP39 word list. This phrase allows you to access your wallet, but should not be used regularly. It is recommended you only use your mnemonic phrase as a backup.
- A Private Key, which allows you to access your wallet, but should not be used regularly. It is recommended you only use your private key as a backup.
In order to create a keystore file, you will need to assign a password that will be used to access the file. When logging into the Binance DEX, this password will also function as your session password.
Once you have entered your password, click “Download Keystore File”.
In the next step, your mnemonic phrase will be generated. Make sure no one is able to see your screen during this phase.
Once you have proceeded to the next step, you will see your mnemonic phrase and you will be able to view your private key by clicking on “View my Private Key ” after you have finished writing down your mnemonic phrase.
The recommended methods of accessing your wallet are with a keystore file or a supported hardware device.
You have now created a wallet on the Binance Chain. You may use the wallet with the Binance DEX.
To view your Binance Chain wallet address, please log in, using your keystore file and password, and navigate to the “Balances” section. Here you can view and copy your Binance Chain wallet address.
2. Create an Ankr wallet
Please see below the guide on how to create an Ankr wallet and convert your Ankr ERC-20 tokens to the Binance Chain BEP-2 format, using the Ankr wallet.
Note: you will need to fill in a Binance Chain BEP-2 address during this procedure.
- Sign up for the Ankr app:
Once you have signed up, you will need to activate your account via your email.
2. Navigate to the wallet tab in the Ankr app and create a wallet by clicking the button in the middle of the screen:
3. Generate an Ankr wallet address and store your details somewhere safe. Please note that we can not recover your credentials if you lose them, so be careful and make sure you keep a secure record of your wallet information.
3. Convert your Ankr ERC-20 to Ankr BEP-2
Once you have generated your Ankr wallet, you can transfer your Ankr ERC-20 tokens to the Binance Chain BEP-2 format.
- Click the Token Swap button on the right hand side of the screen:
2. Choose the swap direction. For trading on Binance DEX or Binance.com, choose ERC-20 to BEP-2, and click Next:
3. Submit your Binance Chain BEP-2 deposit address. Note that you can ONLY get this from the Binance DEX at www.binance.org:
4. Send your Ankr ERC-20 tokens to the generated ERC-20 address, the Ankr BEP-2 tokens will appear automatically in your Binance Chain wallet, which you can access via Binance DEX.
Please note that a small fee of 25 ANKR is taken for each conversion.
4. Send your Ankr BEP-2 tokens to Binance.com
Before you can trade on Binance.com, you need to transfer your Ankr BEP-2 tokens from Binance DEX to Binance.com, through the ‘Deposit’ option in Binance.com, select “Ankr” and copy the wallet address from there.
Now the next part is important. SO important so please do not ignore!
You MUST copy the value in the MEMO field into the Memo field in the withdrawal request. This is absolutely critical; do not fail to do this!
Once done, submit and very soon your tokens will arrive at Binance.com.
