If you don't want to trust a computer or other device anymore, reset the Location & Privacy settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Go to Settings, then tap General. Tap Transfer or Reset [Device]. Tap Reset, then tap Reset Location & Privacy.

Go to account.microsoft.com/devices, sign in, and find the device you want to remove. Select Show details to see info for that device. Under your device's name, select More actions > Remove. Review your device details, select the check box, I'm ready to remove this device, then select Remove.

Now, do keep in mind that removing a trusted device from the list would not reset or wipe that device. It simply unlinks your Apple ID from that particular device and you can again add it to your list later if you wish to.

To remove a device from your list of trusted devices, you will have to remove it from your Apple ID. After that, it's delisted from your Apple ID and, therefore, won't receive 2FA codes. Additionally, after removing a device, you can't use iCloud, Find My, and several other Apple services on it.

Check the recent activity on your computer: Look for anything you don't recognize -- recently accessed files, login events, browser history, and system logs. Review installed programs: Look for remote access programs you didn't install. Some of the most common apps include LogMeIn and TeamViewer.

Deauthorize all authorized computers

You can use this method once a year. In the iTunes app on your PC, choose Account > View My Account, then sign in (if necessary). On the right, click Deauthorize All. If you don't see this option, you have fewer than five authorized computers.

Go to Settings > [your name]. A list of the devices associated with your Apple ID appears near the bottom of the screen. To see if a listed device is trusted, tap it, then look for “This device is trusted and can receive Apple ID verification codes.” To remove a device, tap it, then tap Remove from Account.

Any Apple device logged in to your Apple ID is a trusted device. And will show up in your devices list in Settings ➜ Apple ID. A Trusted Phone number, is just that, a phone number, it does not have a specific device linked to it. It can be an Android device or even a landline.

A trusted device is an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, or Mac that you've already signed in to using two-factor authentication. It's a device that we know is yours and that can be used to verify your identity by displaying a verification code from Apple when you sign in on a different device or browser.

A trusted device can receive verification codes or information for authentication. When the "Trusted devices list is not available" is on your device, it prevents you from accessing your accounts or adding new devices. It is commonly caused by network problems, Apple ID issues, and system glitches.

Sign in to appleid.apple.com, then select Devices. Select the device to find its details, then select "Remove from account." Review the message that appears. Click again to confirm that you want to remove the device.

If you can't remove the device or item from an Apple ID

If you can't remove the device or item and unpair it from an Apple ID you should reset it.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security. Next to Trusted Phone Number, tap Edit. On your Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings (or System Preferences), then click your name (or Apple ID). Click Sign-In & Security, then add or remove a trusted phone number.
