Is adamant better than mithril osrs? ›

Adamant equipment is stronger than mithril equipment, but weaker than rune equipment. Adamant items are green-coloured. Adamant armour requires 30 Defence to wield, weapons generally require 30 Attack.

Adamant armour set (lg) is an item obtained by exchanging a set of items with a Grand Exchange clerk via their right-click "Exchange" option, followed by the "Sets" tab and clicking on the appropriate item set within the Item Sets interface.

To craft the Adamantine armor, you need to place a Mould and a Mithral Ore in the Adamantine Forge near Grymforge. The Moulds are found spread out around the area near the forge, but there are only two Mithral Ores nearby, so you need to choose which items you'll forge carefully.

Adamant Armor is a high-ranked armor, providing 50 Defense, 20 Magic Defense, -10% Evasion, 12% Magic Evasion, resistance towards Fire-elemental attacks, Petrify, Pig, and Poison, and +5 to all stats. However, while mithril is incredibly strong, adamantium is said to be indestrictible and would thus be much stronger.

As with all axes, the rune axe can be used for that purpose even when it is not wielded but merely carried in the player's inventory. The success rate for getting a set of logs is approximately 350% that of a bronze axe, or 17% better than an adamant axe.

Adamantite armor is a decent choice for magic users, who might appreciate the full set's defense and mana cost reduction.

As a ranged user with Adamantite armor, it may better to change the Adamantite Breastplate for the Frost Breastplate, as this will result in 11% more critical strike chance and 4 more defense at the cost of 6% damage and its set bonus, which only reduces ammo consumption by 25%.

Titanium weapons and tools have slightly better stats than adamantite ones, but strangely the armor has slightly less defense than adamantite.

Adamantite armour has higher defence and requires fewer bars for a full set. Titanium armour has higher stat increases and the Shadow Dodge effect but requires more bars for the full set.
