   Choose a location for your secret room. Find a place in your house that you would like to use to create your secret room. You can use existing space and create a hidden entrance, or you can create a new room in unfinished space.    • Hang a large picture just above your opening. Choose a picture that is large enough to cover the entire opening by several inches on each side.
