Why did OneDrive freeze my account?
Even if you access the other Microsoft services, if you don't access your OneDrive account within 12 months, or if you exceed your storage limit, your OneDrive account will be frozen.
Note: After requesting an account unfreeze or purchasing additional storage, it can take up to 24 hours to unfreeze your account. Sign in to the OneDrive website and choose Unfreeze your account to temporarily access your files. You'll have 30 days to remove enough files to be within your storage limit.

In order to unblock apps to request file downloads automatically from OneDrive or other cloud storage services, use the following steps:
- Open Settings.
- Click on Privacy.
- Click on Automatic file downloads.
- Click the Allow button.
Simply click the cloud icon on your taskbar, then press the Help & Settings cog and select “Unlock Personal Vault”. You can also open your vault by pressing the “Open Folder” button in your OneDrive app. You should now be able to view, edit, and move them to your heart's content.

If your OneDrive is not syncing, then visit its Settings and click on the “Office” tab. From here, you need to un-check the option of “Use Office to sync Office files that I open” and save your selection by clicking the “o*k” button. Restart the drive again to fix this issue.
