What happens if you refuse to pay Airbnb damages?
If they decline to pay the full amount or don't respond, you'll be able to involve Airbnb Support. Keep in mind that if you want to involve Airbnb Support in your AirCover for Hosts request, you will need do so and submit evidence of the damage within 30 days of the damage or loss.
If the guest agrees and sends the amount you requested, Airbnb will process the payment and send it to you. However, if the guest refuses to pay the full amount, your next option is to request reimbursem*nt under Airbnb's Host Guarantee.
Accidents are rare, but they happen. If you, someone you invite, or a pet are responsible for damage during a stay, let your Host know right away.
If your reservation request is declined by the host or expires (hosts have 24 hours to respond), no charge is made for the reservation and you're free to book another place to stay.

How do I stop payment on Airbnb?
- Go to Trips and select the trip you want to cancel.
- Click Show more trip plans, then click Show details.
- Click Change or cancel.
- Click Cancel reservation.
If you have an existing reservation with payments scheduled for a future date, such as a long-term reservation, you can change the payment method for the scheduled future payments.
