How do you beat a Ticketmaster queue?
- Create an account in advance.
- Login before tickets go on sale.
- Use a secure connection.
- Only Use One Browser/Tab and don't refresh.
- Avoid camping on the event page.
- Check your emails.
When ticket sales start, the temporary queue is refreshed and everyone who is in queue is assigned a random place. Then the final queue starts for buying tickets. In other words, it does not make sense to wait for our site already hours in advance. You are welcome, but it does not guarantee you a spot in the front row.
Ticketmaster has a queue which you absolutely want to be in. I usually log in and wait about thirty minutes before tickets go on sale. When you log in, find the concert you want to attend, and click More Info. This will take you to a countdown clock.
Go to Ticketmaster and locate the event* you want to shop for. Join the Waiting Room at least 10 minutes prior to the event going on sale. When the sale begins, the Queue will open and you'll be given a place in line. Once it's your turn to shop, you'll use the map to select your seats and then proceed to checkout.
If a popular event goes on sale, it can become very busy on our site before the start of the sale. To manage all that traffic in the right direction, a temporary queue is being set up. You will now see a circle that is filling, but this is not yet the queue to buy tickets.
Use the Web Inspector to bypass the queue system
Select the Network Tab. Check āPreserve Logā Visit the booking page where you will be kicked out to the Queue-It system (Just visit the page as per how you will browse a website on Google Chrome) Now, your Web Inspector will have a list of network requests as shown.
Ticketmaster actually prioritizes mobile sales since the scalping bots don't work on mobile. That increases your chances of getting tickets on that initial click. The mobile app is faster. When you use the mobile app, you bypass entering the security code to check if you are human.
They show you what's available at a glance: Dark blue means the seat is available and matches your search. Light blue means the seat is available but doesn't match your search (you can still buy it). Green check mark means you've already selected the seat or your cursor is over it.
Queue-it uses a standard HTTP 302 redirect to offload visitors to a branded waiting room when a site or app's capacity is reached. Visitors are given a place in queue before they're throttled back to the site or app at the rate you choose.
- Open the Ticketmaster App and sign in to your account.
- Select the event.
- Tap Unlock.
- Enter your Offer Passcode and tap Unlock to apply.
- Select your seats and continue to checkout.
Can you use multiple devices for Ticketmaster?
Can I sign in to the same Ticketmaster account on multiple devices to shop? No, when you sign in to the same account on multiple devices it may result in errors and/or limit you from shopping during the Presale.
Each Ticketmaster account must be linked to a unique individual and contain valid, and verifiable, information. Multiple accounts may not be used to circumvent or exceed published ticket limits.
The only way to know your tickets are authentic, is to buy Ticketmaster āVerified Ticketsā directly from Ticketmaster or Live Nation, or get them at the venue box office. These tickets will always be 100% authentic.
Listing tickets by barcode
From Ticketmaster's Sell Page, search by event, team or artists to start your listing. Select the event from the list, then tap the Sell Tickets button. Enter the ticket barcode(s) for the tickets you'd like to sell. Price your ticket(s) to sell.
When you're in the waiting room, ticketmaster will tell you that it will "automatically refresh you into the queque." I don't believe this. As an experiment, I waited 5 minutes on Monday and it never refreshed me. I had to manually refresh the page and then it gave me a spot in line.

Sorry, you've been temporarily blocked from buying tickets because you may have refreshed your browser too frequently. When that happens our system thinks it's a bot, an evil automated program trying to scoop up tickets. And we automatically block bots.
