- Set a secret 5-digit PIN for the eWallet.

Capitec has made it even more easier and convenient to withdraw ewallet payments or cash transfers. For a quick withdrawal, use any Capitec bank ATM near you. Otherwise, you can collect your money at the retail partnered stores, such as Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, Game, Makro, Pick n Pay or Builders.
To use NFC at a cardless ATM, open the app on your mobile device, choose the linked bank account you want to withdraw from and tap your phone against the designated reader. To complete the transaction, the ATM will prompt you to type in your PIN (just as if you had inserted your card).
How long is an eWallet transfer valid? From the moment the eWallet is sent, it is valid for 12 business days. If the eWallet is not activated within that time period, the funds will be sent back to the account of the sender.
Call or chat a Capitec agent and instruct them to stop or reverse the transaction verbally. The gent will inform the customer/sender of the non-refundable R160 reversal charge, whether successful or not. In case the recipient has withdrawn the sent cash, then there is nothing the bank can do to help the sender.

How long does eWallet pin last?
