How long can Apple cash be pending for? ›

The first time that you use Apple Cash, you have 7 days to accept the money that you've been sent. After you accept the terms and conditions, payments are automatically accepted and added to your Apple Cash card.

Pending purchases indicate a purchase that was unable to be charged successfully to your valid payment method on file or Apple Account balance, as such you are responsible for that purchase, and must allow it to successfully complete before anything else can be done.
