What is the rarest emote in Fortnite? (2024)

Fortnite comprises a wide gallery of emotes that are inspired by popular dances and some that the game itself has made viral. Here’s the rarest emote in Fortnite that only a few lucky players have in their locker.

Out of all the Battle Royale games out there, Fortnite is one with a huge gallery of in-game cosmetics. Apart from its popular cosmetics such as skins and pickaxes, the next hot commodity for Fortnite players is Emotes.

Emotes are actions or dance moves that a player in Fortnite performs to diss their opponent or just have fun out there on the island. They have been around in the game since the very first season of Fortnite.

While there are hundreds of Fortnite emotes out there ranging from Blinding Lights to Gangnam Style, some haven’t made an appearance in the Item Shop for years now. Here’s all about the rarest emote to ever exist in Fortnite.

What is the rarest emote in Fortnite?

The rarest emote in Fortnite is Rambunctious. This emote was released in 2018 during Chapter 1 Season 4 of Fortnite, which makes this an OG cosmetic item in the game. The emote could be bought from the Item Shop for just 500 V-Bucks.

Rambunctious last appeared in the shop on 3rd September 2018, making this emote’s last seen appearance 1424 days ago, the longest ever in Fortnite history. The dance was inspired by Will Smith’s character in the American 90s sitcom, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Due to the usage of the dance moves inspired by the show without permission of the showrunners, Rambunctious and Fresh was a part of a lawsuit filed by them against Epic Games. As a result, both the emotes never saw the item shop again and remain rare with only the OG player-base.
