When you’re setting up a Google Account with a non-Google email, we'll send a verification code to the email address you used to create the account. If you don't verify your address, you won't be able to create aGoogle Account.

Sign in to your email to verify your account

1. While you're creating your account, you'll get an email from Google. Open the email and find theverification code.
2. To finish creating your account, enter the verification code when prompted.

To see if your account is verified, sign into yourGoogle Account. If it hasn't beenverified yet, you'll see a message asking you to verify your account.
