Treats (2024)

Treats are items which grant bond to bees. There are currently eleven different types of treats.

When buying treats from the Treat Shop next to Mother Bear, the starting price for one treat is 100 honey and increases by 100 honey per treat bought and capping out on 10,000 honey per treat. treats can be bought in increments of 1, 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000, 10,000,000, 100,000,000, 1,000,000,000, or 10,000,000,000.

To feed treats to their bees, players must go to their hive and open their item menu. The player must then drag the treat from the menu and to the cell of the bee to be fed, and then either type in the number of treats to feed that bee, use all of the selected treats or if possible, feed the amount of treats needed to level up the bee. If the player is feeding a bee their favorite treat, gingerbread bears, or aged gingerbread bears, there is an "Until Gifted" option that automatically rolls until the bee becomes gifted, similar to using auto-jelly. The player cannot feed other player's bees.

Treat[]

A treat, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 10, unless the player has a Gifted Puppy Bee's Hive Bonus or the 'Bond From Treats' stat from Amulets. They are the easiest treat to obtain but are not the favorite treat of any bee. They can also be used to craft the Honey Mask where 9,999 treats are needed.

Ways to obtain:

• A relatively high chance of dropping from rhino beetles, ladybugs, spiders, mantises, scorpions, werewolves, aphids, Stick Bug, Stick Nymphs, Tunnel Bear, King Beetle, and stump snail.
• A guaranteed drop from Mondo Chicks.
• 2nd and 3rd capture of Commando Chick rewards 2 and 5 treats respectively.
• Farming in the Dandelion, Mushroom, Clover, Spider, Cactus, Pumpkin, Coconut, or Stump Fields.
• Using the Treat Dispenser near the Pro Shop/Pineapple Patch (Like the Honey Dispenser, this requires being a member of the BSS Club).
• Buying from the Treat Shop next to under Mother Bear's awning for 100 honey per treat and capping out at 10,000 honey per treat.
• Redeeming certain valid codes:
  • 1MLikes (Gives 1 treat + other stuff).
• As a reward for completely growing any kind of sprout except for Gummy and Debug sprouts.
• "Playing" Fetch with Puppy Bee.
• As a drop from a Festive Gift or Festive Mark.
• Black Bear gives treats on the following quests:
  • Get Red-y gives 100 treats.
  • One Stop On The Tip Top gives 200 treats.
  • Blue Mushrooms 2 gives 300 treats.
  • Pretty Pumpkins gives 400 treats.
  • Black Bear, Why? gives 500 treats.
  • Bee A Star gives 1,000 treats.
  • The Mythic Egg questline gives treats on all quests, at a sum of 195,500 treats.
  • Black Bear's repeatable quests also reward treats.
• Science Bear gives treats on the following quests:

  • Epistemological Endeavor gives 10,000 treats.
• All of Mother Bear's quests give treats, 4,020 treats on total.
• All of Polar Bear's quests give 10 treats, 180 treats on total.
• All of Onett's quests give treats, 25,000 treats on total.
• Every 5th completion of Honey Bee's quest may give treats.
• Harvesting sparkles.
• As a reward from memory matches.

• A strawberry behind the largest strawberry in the Strawberry Field.

10 bees required

• 10 sunflower Seeds in the maze behind Pro Bear.
• A pineapple behind the giant pineapple closest to the Pro Shop in the Pineapple Patch.

Sunflower Seed[]

A sunflower seed, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 25. However, when fed to a Basic, Bomber, Looker, Demo, Commander, Carpenter, Ninja, Vector, or Precise Bee, the amount of bond they gain is doubled, raising their bond by 50. These bees also have a small chance of becoming gifted when fed Sunflower Seeds. Sunflower Seeds can also be used to craft Oil, Belt Pocket, Mondo Belt Bag, Paper Planter, Bomber Guard, Looker Guard or the Basic Boots.

Ways to obtain:

• As a drop from Werewolves, Spiders, Stick Nymphs, Stick Bug, Wild Windy Bee, King Beetle, Commando Chick, and Tunnel Bear.
• A drop in the Sunflower Field.
• Ten sunflower seeds can be found inside the maze in the Pro Shop.
• As a reward from the Ant Challenge.
• Redeeming certain valid codes:
  • 1MLikes (Gives 1 sunflower Seed + other stuff).
  • 10mMembers (Gives 10 sunflower Seeds + other stuff).
• Spirit Bear gives Sunflower Seeds on the following quest:
  • Echoing Call gives 500 sunflower Seeds upon receiving quest.

  • Planting a sprout in the Sunflower Field yields 7x more sunflower Seeds than other fields.

Strawberry[]

A Strawberry, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 25. However, when fed to a Rascal, Rad, Rage, Riley, Baby, Stubborn, Shy, or Spicy Bee, the amount of bond they gain is doubled. These bees also have a small chance of becoming gifted when fed strawberries. Strawberries can also be used to craft red extracts, gumdrops, and the Fire Mask.

Ways to obtain:

• Defeating ladybugs, scorpions, and King Beetle.
• A drop in the Mushroom Field, Strawberry Field, Rose Field, Cactus Field, and the Pepper Patch.
• From using the Strawberry Dispenser near the Red HQ.
• There is a strawberry token hidden behind the largest strawberry in the corner of Strawberry Field.
• As a reward from the Ant Challenge.
• Redeeming certain valid codes:
  • 1MLikes (Gives 1 strawberry + other stuff).
  • 10mMembers (Gives 10 strawberries + other stuff).
• As a reward for completely growing any kind of sprout except for Moon, Gummy, and Debug sprouts.
  • Planting a sprout in the Mushroom Field, Rose Field, and Pepper Patch yields 4x more strawberries than other fields. Planting a sprout in the Strawberry Field yields 8x more strawberries than other fields.
• As a drop from a Festive Gift or Festive Mark.
• Harvesting leaves. (Higher chance in red fields.)
• Sparkles can drop strawberries when harvested (higher chances in red fields).

Pineapple[]

A pineapple, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 25. However, when fed to a Hasty, Brave, Honey Bee, Exhausted, Shocked, Fire, Demon, Lion, or Fuzzy Bee, the amount of bond they gain is doubled. These bees also have a small chance of becoming gifted when fed pineapples. Pineapples can also be used to craft enzymes, gumdrops, moon charms, the Helmet, and the Propeller Hat.

Ways to obtain:

• Defeating mantises, scorpions, spiders, werewolves, Commando Chick, Stick Nymphs, Stick Bug, King Beetle, and Tunnel Bear.
• Farming in the Pineapple Patch.
• 1 pineapple is given to the player every time they use the Treat Dispenser.
• 5 pineapples can be found behind the pineapple near the Treat Dispenser.
• As a reward from the Ant Challenge.
• Redeeming certain valid codes:
  • 1MLikes (Gives 1 pineapple + other stuff).
  • 10mMembers (Gives 10 pineapples + other stuff).

• Onett gives pineapples on the following quests:
  • Star Journey 1 gives 25 pineapples.

Blueberry[]

A blueberry, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 25. However, when fed to a Bumble, Cool, Bubble, Frosty, Bucko, Diamond, Music, Tadpole, or Buoyant Bee, the amount of bond they gain is doubled. These bees also have a small chance of becoming gifted when fed blueberries. Blueberries can also be used to craft Blue Extracts, gumdrops, Bubble Mask, or the Basic Boots.

Ways to obtain:

• Defeating rhino beetles, mantises or King Beetle.
• A drop in the Blue Flower, Bamboo, Cactus, Stump Field, and Pine Tree Forest.
• From using the Blueberry Dispenser inside the Blue HQ.
• As a reward from the Ant Challenge.
• Redeeming certain valid codes:
  • 1MLikes (Gives 1 blueberry + other stuff).
  • 10mMembers (Gives 10 blueberries + other stuff).
• Spirit Bear gives blueberries on the following quest:
  • Out-Questing Questions gives 1 blueberry.

Star Treat[]

A star treat, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 1,000, along with the bee transforming into its gifted form. It is the only treat in the game which is guaranteed to turn a bee gifted. It is also one of the only ways to get gifted Event bees, including the gingerbread bear and aged gingerbread bear.

Ways to obtain:

• Completing all of Onett's quests, Mother Bear's quests, and Panda Bear's quests.
• Completing 750 Brown Bear quests rewards a star treat. Every 500 quests after the 750th Brown Bear quest also rewards a star treat.
• Buying it with 1,000 tickets inside the Ticket Tent.
• Playing Night Memory Match/Extreme Memory Match (exceptionally rare).
• An exceptionally rare drop from the Mondo Chick, Coconut Crab, and Fireflies.
• Capturing Commando Chick for the 100th time guarantees a star treat.
• An exceptionally low chance of dropping from Mythic Meteors.
• A extremely rare drop from a Festive Planter.
• Given by Wind Shrine if you already have a Windy Bee after buying the Windy Bee Pack.

These methods are no longer possible:

• Buying the Gingerbread Cub Bundle in Bee Bear's Catalog (1 if the player didn't have a Cub Buddy, 2 if they already had one.)
• An extremely low chance of getting from Winter memory match.
• Completing the 15th Bee Bear quest rewards a star treat if the player already owns a cub buddy.
• An exceptionally rare drop from Festive Nymphs.
• An extremely rare drop from the Stockings.
• Buying it from Bee Bear's Catalog for 10,000 Snowflakes.
• By opening certain Gift Boxes:
  • The Mondo Gift Box gave 1 star treat + other items during Beesmas 2020, 2021 and 2022.
• Buying the Windy Bee pack after already obtaining a Windy Bee from the Wind Shrine gave a star treat.

Moon Charm[]

A moon charm, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 250. They are also needed to get a Moon Amulet or to craft glitter or the Helmet. If fed to a radioactive bee, it has a 1/2,500 (0.04%) chance to mutate the bee.

This is one of the 8 tokens that can glow, the others being Festive Gift, Festive Blessing, Beesmas Cheer, Map Corruption, as well as glitter, night beIl, star jelly, and star treat tokens (as exceptionally rare drops from fireflies).

Moon charm tokens last 10 seconds before disappearing.

Ways to obtain:

• As a common drop from fireflies. (Increments of 1, 5 and 10.)
• King Beetle and Tunnel Bear always drop moon charms upon defeat.
• As a rare drop from mantises and stump snail.
• A guaranteed drop from a Moon Sprout.
• As a reward from memory matches (Every type except Extreme Memory Match and the Winter Memory Match).
• As a rare drop from harvesting sparkles.
• Crafting them using the Blender for 5 pineapples, 5 gumdrops, and 1 royal jelly.
• Black Bear rewards moon charms on the following quest:

Bitterberry[]

A bitterberry, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 100 and has a 1/1000 to make it mutated. The chance is boosted to 1/100 if the bee is Radioactive. These are not the favorite treat of any bee.

Ways to obtain:

• Has a chance of dropping from ladybugs, spiders, scorpions, rage aphids, Tunnel Bear, and King Beetle.
• As a reward for defeating the Commando Chick, Mondo Chick, and the Coconut Crab.
• Farming in the Mushroom Field, Spider Field, Pineapple Patch, Cactus Field, Rose Field, Mountain Top Field, and Pepper Patch.
• As a drop from a Debug sprout.
• As a gift from a cub buddy.
• Harvesting leaves from certain fields.
• Black Bear rewards bitterberry on the following quest:
  • Sweet and Sour gives 25 bitterberries.
  • Weed Wacker 3 gives 25 bitterberries.
• Brown Bear rewards bitterberry on the completion of these quests:
  • Brown Bear's 20th quest rewards 25 bitterberries.
  • Brown Bear's 40th quest rewards 50 bitterberries.

Neonberry[]

A Neonberry, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 500 and makes it radioactive for a period of time. This is the only treat to have guaranteed chance of making the bee radioactive. These are not the favorite treat of any bee. This treat gives the second most bond out of all treats, tied with the Aged Gingerbread Bear.

Ways to obtain:

• Has a low chance of dropping from rhino beetles, ladybugs, mantises, King Beetle, Stump Snail, Mondo Chick, and Coconut Crab.
• Rare drop from farming in the Blue Flower Field, Pineapple Patch, Mountain Top Field, or in the Pine Tree Forest.
• Harvesting leaves from certain fields.
• Drops from a Debug sprout.
• As an uncommon drop from all sprouts.
• As a reward from the Ant Challenge.
• Black Bear's Triple Treck gives 1 neonberry.
• Brown Bear's 420th quest gives 4 neonberries.
• As an uncommon drop from Mythic Meteors.
• As a rare drop from a Festive Mark.
• As an uncommon drop from Puffshrooms.
• As a common drop from Robo Bear Challenge.
• As a drop from Pesticide Planter and The Planter Of Plenty.
  • The Pesticide Planter drops extra Neonberries in the Stump Field, Mountain Top Field, and the Coconut Field.
  • Planting the Pesticide Planter in the Stump Field, then the Mountain Top Field, then the Coconut Field results in an additional 25 Neonberries (1 week cooldown).
• As a Stack Reward for adding certain stickers to the Sticker Stack:
  • The Wobbly Looker Bee rewards 3 neonberries.
  • The Traffic Light rewards 3 neonberries.
  • The Atom Symbol rewards 5 neonberries.
  • Every colored Beesmas Light sticker rewards 3 neonberries each.

Atomic Treat[]

An atomic treat, when fed to a bee, raises its bond by 1000 and gives the bee a random mutation. The mutations are Attack, Convert Amount, Gather Amount, Energy, and Bee Ability Rate. These are not the favorite treat of any bee.

Ways to obtain:

• As a very rare drop from defeating the Coconut Crab.
• As a rare reward from the Robo Bear Challenge.
• As a rare drop from debug sprouts.
• As a very rare drop from a Mythic Meteor.
• Completing Digital Bee's final puzzle.
• Brown Bear rewards atomic treats on the completion of these quests:
  • Brown Bear's 125th quest rewards an Atomic Treat.
  • Brown Bear's 225th quest rewards an Atomic Treat.
  • Brown Bear's 375th quest rewards an Atomic Treat.
  • Completing Science Bear's "Repairing the White Drive" quest.

These methods are no longer possible:

• Completing Bee Bear's "Peppermint Preparation" quest gave 3 Atomic Treats + other stuff.
• Opening the Shady Present or Mondo Present rewarded 5 and 6 atomic treats respectively.
• Completing Bee Bear's "A Beesmas Miracle" and "Bee Cub Workshop 5" quests.
• Redeeming certain expired codes:

Gingerbread Bear[]

A gingerbread bear, when fed to a bee, increases its bond by 250 and has a 1% chance to make that bee Gifted. These are not the favorite treat of any bee. Gingerbread bears can be used to purchase a variety of items from Bee Bear's Catalog. If gingerbread bears were obtained during Beesmas 2020 and lasted until Beesmas 2021, it transforms into aged gingerbread bears, which when fed to a bee, increases its bond by 500 instead and has a slightly higher chance to make that bee into a Gifted Bee (1.1%)

Ways to obtain:

• As a drop from a Festive Sprout.
• By getting high combos in Puppy Bee's Beequip ability, Reindeer Fetch. (Cooldown of 1 day.)
• As a rare drop from Festive Wreath.
• As a drop from a Festive Planter.

These methods are no longer possible:

• Completing certain Beesmas 2020/2021-exclusive quests rewarded a varying amount of gingerbread bears.
• As a rare drop from Ladybugs, Scorpion, Aphids and Werewolves.
  • Tunnel Bear, Coconut Crab, and Stump Snail are guaranteed to drop Gingerbread bears while King Beetle has a high chance of dropping one.

• According to Onett, the chance to get a Gifted bee from feeding favorite treats varies depending on their rarity. The chances are 1 in 8,000 for Rare bees, 1 in 10,000 for Epic bees, 1 in 12,000 for Legendary and Common bees, and 1 in 24,000 for Mythic bees.

Trivia[]

• A singular star treat or atomic treat gives the most bond (1,000 bond), followed by a single neonberry and aged gingerbread bear (500 bond), then gingerbread bears and moon charms (250 bond).
• Before the 4/5/2019 update, when asked to feed strawberries or blueberries to a bee, the plural was incorrectly spelled as "Strawberrys" and "Blueberrys" instead of "Strawberries" and "Blueberries."
  • However, when using fruit to craft gumdrops, for example, it is still spelled as "Blueberrys" and "Strawberrys."
• Despite being mentioned by Spirit Bear as once being a Blueberry Field, the Blue Flower Field doesn't seem to yield more blueberries than other blue fields.
• Treats, pineapples, strawberries, and blueberries are the only treats that can be obtained from dispensers.
• There is a glitch in which dragging an item that is not a treat (ex: magic bean, gumdrops) to the bee causes the hive slot to turn red.
