@CrysisRegnumHi, Titanfall 2 has an offline campaign. You play as a single pilot with his titan through a series of levels as a story unfolds.
While there are some boss arena-style fights and the campaigndoes share plenty of skills and concepts with the multiplayer, it's not intended to imitate a multiplayer match. You may want to check some reviews for the campaign portion of the game, it's (rightfully in my opinion) held in high regard.
The multiplayer portion of the game does have some AI, but they aren't intended to be a substitute for players and are more of a mildly threateningside objective. There aren't any modes outside of the campaign where you can fight just the AI.
Oh and to answer your other question, campaign progress is totally separate from multiplayer progress.

This is due to a known error with the Advocate Network (default clan for Multiplayer). There is a fix for this, that resets the clan every time you sign in. Since you are on PC, I recommend getting the Northstar client.
There are various AI, both friendly and enemy throughout Titanfall. Especially to new players, AI can be difficult to differ from real players. This was probably intentional as Respawn Entertainment wanted the multiplayer experience to feel much like a campaign game.
While Titanfall 2's offline story is excellent, however, it's online mode doesn't measure up. It's fine. Good, even. But it feels like a backwards step from how crunchy and purposeful battles were in the first game.
Multiplayer works if you download the North Star Client. The client has active modders as well and best of all no crashes, just a simple google search away. Northstar client is the way to multiplayer.
