Your Shareholder Reference Number (SRN) is a unique identifier for your shareholding and can be found on either your share certificate, statements, welcome letter or a recent dividend confirmation/tax voucher.

Your HIN or SRN can be found on the top right hand corner of your holding statement and other shareholder communications. You will typically have a HIN if you bought your units on the Securities Exchange through a stockbroker. You will typically have an SRN if you applied for unit directly with the Responsible Entity.

What is an SRN? Issuer Sponsored shares are tracked with a SRN or Securityholder reference number. This number is a ten or eleven number sequence that always begins with an 'I'. Each company that you own shares in will have a unique SRN.

You can find your HIN on a CHESS statement. A HIN starts with the letter X and is followed by ten numbers, e.g. X0001234567. To offer lower brokerage rates, some entities may use an omnibus (rather than an individual) HIN to hold shares.

One login will provide details on all shareholdings. Select "Access a Single Holding" if you're only interested in one company. The SRN / HIN can be found on the most recent holding statement or share certificate. It's 11 characters long an usually starts with an “X” or “I”.

Service Request Number is generated automatically. You get an acknowledgement slip if you enrol for a new Aadhaar card, apply for any rectification, or update any details. On this slip, you will find the 28-digit Service Request Number.

SRN is 14 digits Service Request Number which is generated after raising request for Aadhaar update. It will be generated once you start submitting the request. Till the completion of the transaction 'resume' option shall be available.

How to find your SRN. The share registry will send you a holding statement with your SRN listed. If you can't find a holding statement, contact your share registry to ask for one.

Your holder number (it'll have either nine or 10 digits, or eight digits and a letter) can be found on your Bond record or your online account. You could also use your NS&I number, which has 11 digits and can be found on most NS&I communications.

What is a HIN/SRN? Australian shares can be held and managed in three ways: CHESS Sponsored with Broker (HIN), Issuer Sponsored with Share Registry (SRN) and through a Nominee model. When shares are held with a broker (or online trading account) they are identified by a HIN (Holder Identification Number).

You can find your investor number by viewing: A Holding Statement will show either an SRN, if you are Issuer Sponsored, or HIN if you are sponsored by a broker (CHESS). A Unitholder Statement will show a unitholder number that is a ten-digit number starting with 'U'.

What happens if I forget my User ID? If you forget your User ID you should click on the “Forgotten User ID” on the login box. You will be asked to enter an SRN/HIN and postcode details for one of your securityholdings. Upon validation you will be presented with your User ID on screen.

Once you log in to your Computershare account, navigate to the account information section. Here, you can easily locate your account number. Look for options such as 'My Profile' or 'Account Details' to access this crucial information.

While applying for an online update through the Aadhaar self-service portal at www.uidai.gov.in, you will receive the Acknowledgement Slip that you can download and print. This slip has the URN and the SRN. URN is the 14-digit aadhaar Update Request Number and SRN is the 14-digit Service Request Number.

SRN – Shipment Reference Number issued by FedEx Express for record identification purposes. ITN – Internal Transaction Number transmitted by AES back to FedEx acknowledging acceptance of the submission.
