I can't go to the url you mentioned because I can get past the athentication prompt to login. I can't get logged into any online accounts associated with this account because it keeps asking for the authentication code. It offers no other authetication options. Evidently when I set up the account which is a .onmicrosoft.com account associated with a developer environment, it didn't ask me for a phone number so there is no alternate authentication option provided. This really needs to be fixed. One should not get stuck in this endless loop.

This was very helpful, and works! Don’t worry about the instructions they gave, just follow the very helpful link!!

In my situation, I have everything connected to phone, repaired phone, trying to log back in, I’m my own admin. The authenticator app on my phone wasn’t moving through the process and I kept getting error codes.

On a whim, I clicked the link above and it gave me options on how I want to authenticate.

For my situation, I chose email with a different email address, and text on my google voice (which is an app on all my devices and avoids this issue in the future. Also internet so even if phone is deactivated I still get the message 🛜 ). After that, I went back to the Outlook app, and I got in smoothly without any issues.

Just click the link above and it gives you options from there. You can’t get it wrong ☺️

Your issue is different and you are getting past the login page but don't realize it. The only option I and others get when selecting the link is to login. You can't get to privacy and security page without logging in first. Stop misleading people.

This is not a resolution since a user has to log in to get to the security info page. The only way to fix this is for Microsoft to provide a different way to temporarily validate a user so a code can be regenerated. This is a bug that needs to be addressed.

Dude it is an infinite loop. In order to login microsoft asks for authenticator app authentication. This is the problem.
