Fire-type is the strongest, it is effective against 2 types earth and ice while the other types are effective against 1. Water is the weakest type it is weak against storm and earth but water destroys fire making it strongest but here is the thing earth can eliminate water but earth is weak against fire, storm can destroy water but it can still waste fire and ice is strong against storm, but still has a weakness to fire. so which pet type is truly the strongest?

I am not counting shadow as there are no shadow type and catch-able pets. And astral is mainly neutral.
This circular reference problem makes the game more balanced. We can't have a most powerful element, as then everyone would use it and make the other types redundant.

Actually, water is strongest because fire is used everywhere, so 90% or more of the players use fire types. And I've also seen teams of 2 embersheds, embershed and tarragon, charfoal and flame neek, I've seen everything. so water is the most useful one because it is powerful against 90% of teams, because 90% of them are fire.
The types are balanced out.
Fire is as strong as water since very few people (compared to fire types) like water.

Water is powerful as well, but it has more weaknesses, so as that it won't be over powered too.
