After the Battle Royale, Tapu Koko appeared before Ash and was pleased to see him again. Apparently aware of his upcoming matches in the Masters Eight, Tapu Koko performed a dance which Kukui interpreted as it praying for his success before flying off.

Zed is the main antagonist of Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. He is a researcher who is obsessed with obtaining the secret of the Forest of Okoya and the Koko's archenemy.

Zarude is injured in the battle and nearly succumbs, but Koko manages to harness the power of the jungle as if he were a Pokémon, healing him. With their combined forces, they manage to break the tank's power source, disabling it.

The story of Koko, a young boy raised by Pokémon, and the creation of a new bond between humans and Pokémon.

Ash's father has remained a mystery throughout the series, with only occasional mentions and no concrete information about him. In the special episode "Pokémon: The Distant, Blue Sky," Ash is offered a chance to meet his father but ultimately misses him due to timing.

When he finally returns home, his father has already left. The episode does not explain why Ash's father had to leave, other than that there was an urgent situation and he needed to go somewhere far away. However, it is shown that he left Ash's original cap.

It has no gender, but it was made very feminine (including being a shiny [shiny celebi = pink]) so that Celebi's crush on Grovyle would make sense..

However, Koko fell into a river where he was saved by Ash Ketchum. Following his recovery, Koko found himself in the human world where he noticed that Ash and his fellow humans were identical to himself.

Born at the Cincinnati Zoo, Ndume was also brought to the sanctuary to be Koko's mating partner. Koko did get pregnant but had a miscarriage. The two remained close companions after that, according to Patterson.

You see, Tapu Koko, as the guardian deity, is all about preserving the balance of Melemele Island, and it's got a knack for picking the right folks to do its bidding. In Ash, it saw the potential, the burning desire to become a Pokémon Master, and the will to protect the island. So, it gifted him the Z-Ring.

Ash, Misty, and Brock had a very sad goodbye in the original Pokémon anime series, so it was great to see an ecstatic reunion. Much to Ash's surprise, Misty and Brock turn up at the Alola airport in Episode 42, "Alola, Kanto!" Ash is jubilant to see both his friends at the same time after so long.
