International students in Germany can choose between three health insurance plans. For German students abroad, the MAWISTA Student tariff is the right choice. With all tariffs, you will receive your insurance documents within 24 hours following verification of your details.

MAWISTA Expatcare offers expats high-quality health insurance coverage with excellent service. The tariff is aimed at people who have to go abroad temporarily for work-related reasons. MAWISTA Expatcare can be taken out either before or during your stay abroad.

Both foreigners in Germany and Germans abroad can take out MAWISTA Expatcare for a duration of up to five years. In certain circ*mstances, German expats abroad can take out a second MAWISTA Expatcare contract with a further term of five years following expiry of the first five-year term.

Tourists and long-term travellers can insure themselves for global travel up to 365 days with a MAWISTA health insurance plan.

MAWISTA Visum is valid for incoming tourists in the entire Schengen area and is recognised by embassies and consulates when applying for a Schengen visa. As medical costs are unlimited on this health insurance plan, it exceeds the minimum coverage requirement of 30,000 euros.

MAWISTA Reisecare offers daily coverage for up to 365 days abroad. The tariff can easily be taken out either before or during your stay abroad e.g. as follow-up insurance.
