Master's Challenge (2024)

The Master's Challenge is a special map unlocked after getting at least 18 unique monsters. It consists of 30 waves of enemies summoned by your old teacher, with an elemental dragon boss appearing on waves 9(fire), 18(ice), and 27(electric), and all three reappearing on wave 30. It awards Evo Gems to use when evolving non-elemental monsters, based on performance. The summoner begins with a completely empty board, and only a level 1 fireball spell. At the beginning of waves 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, and 19, the Seller offers them a choice between two randomly chosen monsters they own to add to the field for free, and at the beginning of all other waves, either the Seller will give them a choice between 2 upgrades to purchase, or the Monitor will offer them the chance to watch an advertisem*nt for a free upgrade. Monsters keep their star bonus from normal gameplay, but start the challenge at level 1, though their strength at level can be increased by power stone levels The challenge also has a unique currency, which resembles a copper coin with a star in the middle. Every enemy, except for the dragons, drop 10 coins to start, and every monster costs (10 + 30*(current level)) to upgrade. The player skills, achievements, enemy list, shop, and monster list cannot be viewed during the challenge. The overall effect of These conditions is a challenge that is almost impossible to prepare for-since the only advantages kept from normal gameplay are star bonuses, power stone levels, stronger rocks, and higher rarity monsters-with the intention of rendering pre-challenge preparations almost worthless, and making it equally challenging for all players.

The Master Summoner stays at the top of the field throughout the challenge, but can freeze or stun a monster, or instantly destroy a single rock, with his skill Lazy Spellcasting. The upgrades offered by the Seller and Monitor include unlocking and upgrading all three of the player's spells, increasing their monsters' damage(+10% each time), increasing the number of Evo Gems earned at the end of the challenge(+30% each time), increasing the number of coins dropped by enemies(+1 each time), and restoring all rocks to full strength.
