To manage your child’s app permissions, your child must use:
An Android device (running Android 6.0 or higher)
A Chromebook (running Chrome OS version 71 or higher)
Both parents and your child can manage app permissions. If you want, you can set it so only parents can give app permissions on your child’s device.Purchase approval settings only apply to purchases made through Google Play’s billing system.
Important: If you turn some permissions off, certainapps might not work correctly.

Select a permission Only parents or Your child and parents.
If you select "Only parents," your child won't be able to give that permission for any new or current app. However, this selection doesn't change permissions that have already been granted.

Please note that only the organizer of the Family Sharing group can enable or disable the "Ask to Buy" feature for other family members. If you're not the organizer, you won't be able to remove ask for permission on app store.

You can do this by enabling Google Play's 'Parental Controls' feature. This will allow you to disable or remove parental controls without needing to know the password. To turn on the Parental Controls feature, open the Google Play app on your Android phone and go to Settings.
Important: If you delete the connection between your Google Account and a third-party app or service, the app or service may keep the data you've already shared with them. To delete data shared with the third-party app or service, visit the website for the app or service for details.
Make sure that you're using the same Apple ID for Family Sharing and Media & Purchases. And make sure that purchase sharing is turned on. Then ask your family members to check their settings too.
Things to Know About Disabling iPhone Restrictions
Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions to disable restrictions. You can disable/modify individual restrictions in the Content & Privacy Restrictions menu.
Return to your iPhone/iPad main screen. Tap the Settings Icon, then tap General. Two-thirds of the way down the General settings page is Restrictions. Check whether it is marked as On or Off.
