Hear Me Out

If you're concerned about your kids because the game is too violent, it's really not that bad. Just some blood when you're shot. It's extremely rare to hear, but some characters swear. The game actually has some great messages. You can put banners on your profile such as BLM and Stop Asian Hate, etc. The only concern I would have is some stuff costs real money, like buying new legends or skins. I can say I haven't spent a cent on this game and I've got almost every legend and tons of skins, it's just about patience. It does require a lot of free time and can be quite addicting, so I recommend you set limits for your kid, but I know that helps me and might be different for others. Overall, it's a great game.

Stop being overprotective!!!!!!!

Apex isn't very bad of a game. It costs the same amount for skins as fortnite, but it is better. You have abilities for every legend and many varieties of skins. There is a legend, Loba who shows a lot of "stuff" on all her skins. But, in most games when parents see blood, they get overprotective and automatically assume it is a violent game. I mean, the blood only appears in head shots and some finishers. And when you are downed or low on HP there will be a slight red tint on the side of your screen. The game isn't violent though, it is basically a more realistic version of Fortnite, but much better! The game doesn't use bad swears, it's the teammates so if you get uncomfortable just mute them.

This title has:

  • Easy to play/use
  • Too much sex
  • Too much swearing

Though its rated 15+ this game has little to no blood and the only thing that is remotely violent is the finishers and their not to bad, 10/10 game and i recommend it for 12 and up.

It’s a good mix between games like Warzone and Overwatch

Apex Legends is a first person shooter game that is more appropriate for kids content-wise than Rainbow Siege Six and Warzone. Though, it’s not as cartoony and kid friendly as say Fortnite or Overwatch. It’s very similar to Overwatch as each character (which are called “Legends”) has their own set of special abilities and buffs. It highly encourages teamwork, and is very hard to play solo. Unless of course you’re just a god at the game. Overall, there is blood but nothing more gorey than that. The only use of drugs would be one of the legends “Octane” uses adrenaline stims to make himself go faster at the cost of some health points. If you’re super picky about it, than the syringes and med-kits are high tech glowing looking things that are injected into the Legends wrist. All the skins are pretty modest, the only exception being Loba’s base skin shows some cleavage. Curse words wise, there aren’t many. Occasionally “ass” will be heard in one or two pretty uncommon skydive quips, but besides that there really isn’t much. The only concerns come from the open voice chat, but that can easily be turned off or muted. The Legends feature a ton of diversity in race, sexuality, and gender. A ton of strong female roles are shown. Along with LGBTQ and POC characters are shown.

Good, but some things you should know

Apex isn't that bad I mean, yes there is some gore and that stuff but it isn't bad as parents think with the finishers how violent they are? They are not very violent! I make this 10 not 9 because there is some profanity if you choose Loba and Revenant. The only swears they use is, d**n, b***h, and h**l but it's very rare. Take it form a 14 year old who plays this almost every day. Then there is the parents who think the game is bad because of the 'blood' that only appears in finishers or head shots or when you are downed. Its only a slight red tint. Then there is the toxic community. The game is good but it is the toxic 10 year old that ruins it. The game has also gotten a little brutal over time with the finishers. You can let your kid play this if they are 10-12 but be careful of the community and who they play with. Other than the community, it is a great and fun game that is definitely not free to play.

You just took TitanFall2 and made it not fun

It’s basically just titanless titanfall but in a battle Royale which basically takes all of the reason it’s actually fun, not to mention they took away WALLRUNNING. Respawn get your priorities straight

Great game

Some people think this is too violent, well yes it is. But if you are not exposed to violence until your older, then everything can seem very scary. The characters in the game have special abilities that can help your team win the game. I think apex is a great game.

Good game some pretty intense seens of violence.

Great game, but there is some intense seens of violence. People are shot, stabbed , and necks are snapped. But its a huge tactical strategy game you have to think before you act and communicate with teammates, overall a great game.
