Interesting as that's what I thought when they halted mining a few weeks back and I couldn't sign in to my profile but after just a little research online I found out how to transfer my balance to my Metamask wallet and Voila my 15000 ice coins were added to my balance so where is the scam??

Yeah this is all completely false. Ice Network went out of their way to protect investor's money by removing miners who couldn't pass the quiz. This upset a lot of people and I imagine the OP is one such user. Ice is no more volatile than any other crypto. And with it's Millions TPS, has the potential to give insane ROIs.
