Payday loans are short-term loans that don’t check for good or bad credit, BUT people get outrageous fees- like paying $15 for every $100 borrowed.

A 2-week payday loan can have a fee of up to $30, which is a huge markup, hence why you should avoid them.

Payday lenders include online sites like Speedy Cash and PersonalLoans (previously Zippy Loans).

But keep in mind even a short-term personal loan is still debt just like medical bills and credit card bills, and they’ll do credit checks to figure out your interest rate.

It’s similar to most loans, and there’s no credit check, but you need to review the interest rates- we saw one for as high as 400% APR on a loan of only $2,000.
