The Disadvantages of a Dual-SIM Phone
Just because you have a dual-SIM phone doesn’t mean that you will surely get calls and messages simultaneously. The phone needs to have active dual-SIM functionality to get messages and calls from both phones simultaneously.
When looking into buying a dual-SIM phone, it’s important to check that it’s not a standby dual-SIM phone. If it is, you’ll need to switch between SIM cards to get your messages and calls.

my friend brought for me a samsung A42 5G dual sim card from America where the sim2 is in SD card slot and in the phone setting no where it shows dual sim. Where is the problem is it blocked by manufacturer or is one sim card phone?

I have Huawei p30 ELE-L09 with Android 10 and it has a dual sim carrier. I can’t find anywhere in the settings anything about a SIm and putting in the second card nothing seems to have changed.
