Usage logging is an excellent way for a small business owner to help justify the expense of running a Microsoft SharePoint server. However, if you have a large number of users accessing SharePoint, you may soon find your log directories stuffed full. You can easily delete usage logs by accessing the SharePoint Administrative menu with a Web browser. Before you perform this operation and delete the usage files, however, you must turn off logging; otherwise, the logs can't be deleted.
