Are you in the market for a 100,000-mile credit card offer but want to know how much it’s worth before going through the effort? The 100k signup/welcome bonuses tend to be some of the most valuable, but the base value can differ by rewards program, so it pays to compare your best options. Let’s compare how much a 100k credit card points is worth.

My favorite 100k+ card offers are currently the Chase business credit cards with $1,000+ signup bonuses.

How Much Is a 100k Card Point Offer Worth?

Most travel miles are worth 1 cent, making 100,000 miles worth $1,000 in award travel. Typically, award flights have better redemption values than hotel nights, so you may decide to concentrate on airline miles credit cards first.

Unfortunately, most hotel points tend to be worth less than 1 cent so 100,000 points might actually be worth closer to $700, or even as little as $500. On the other hand, select rewards programs to provide bonuses above 1 cent so you can effortlessly get more mileage.

How Much Are 100,000 Ultimate Rewards Worth?

You’ve likely heard of the Chase program, given it has some of the top travel cards. So, how much is a 100k card offer worth at Chase? At a minimum, 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards® are worth $1,000 in cash back or gift cards. Several cards offer a travel redemption bonus that can make the balance worth as much as $1,250.

Ink Business Preferred Credit Card

New Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card cardholders can earn 100k bonus points after spending $8,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That’s $1,000 cash back or $1,250 toward travel when redeemed through Chase Travel℠.

However, business travelers can enjoy a higher bonus value.

As the Ink Business Preferred has a 25% travel redemption bonus, the entire balance is worth $1,250 when booking award travel directly through Chase Travel℠. You may also be able to squeeze out more value with the 1:1 point transfer partners by booking directly with your preferred airline or hotel loyalty program.

This is one of the most valuable business credit card offers, thanks to the redemption bonus. Additionally, the card’s annual fee is a reasonable $95, plus additional employee cards are free.

As this card is for small businesses, the spending requirement is higher than for personal credit cards. Therefore, you must spend $15,000 during the first 3 months.

Ink Business Premier

The Ink Business Premier℠ Credit Card earns $1,000 cashback (100,000 points) after $10,000 in purchases during the first 3 months. Technically, this is a cash rewards business credit card, so it doesn’t offer a travel redemption bonus like the Ink Preferred does.

Each point is worth 1 cent for cash rewards, travel, or gift cards.

This card earns up to 2.5% back on purchases and has a $195 annual fee.

How Much Are 100,000 Avios Worth?

Avios are worth approximately 1 cent for economy flights and 2 cents for premium cabin seats (business and first class). The British Airways Visa Signature® Card can help you earn Avios (Aer Lingus and Iberia have similar offers if these Avios airlines are a better fit).

However, you are likely to encounter fuel surcharges that domestic airlines may not charge, so earning a smaller bonus from United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, or American Airlines can be a better move.

Summary of How Much 100,000 Miles Are Worth

In conclusion, there are 100k card offers worth their signup/welcome bonus requirements. There are several 100,000 point credit card offers to choose from to get at least $1,000 in cash or travel rewards. Award flights are consistently the most valuable redemption option, but many rewards programs have sweet spots.
