How Does Gifting on TikTok Work?

TikTok gifts can only be bought on the app. This is what you need to do if you want to give someone a gift on TikTok.

Step One: Get Coins

You will need to have coins to be able to purchase gifts, which means you should have a payment method attached to your account first.

Who can receive TikTok gifts?

To be eligible to receive gifts on TikTok, creators will first need to join Creator Next, TikTok’s money-earning program.

They also need to:

• Be 18 years or older
• Have a minimum of 100,000 followers
• Have an account that is at least a month old
• Have published content in the last 30 days
• Have no repeated violations of TikTok’s Community Guidelines

Videos that include Duets, Stitch videos, sponsored clips, ads and content that violates the Community Guidelines will not be eligible to receive gifts.
