How long does it take for my withdrawal to be processed? | Bake Help Center (2024)

The simple answer — not as long as you might think. Our team is fast, efficient and organized, so all withdrawals will be processed within 72-hours.

At Bake, we take the utmost care and precaution to protect our user’s accounts, ensuring the highest security standards are met. Our oven is most probably even more secure than your bank vault.

To help make the process as seamless and speedy as possible, we’ve implemented some automated security measures. As a result, your withdrawal may be subject to an enhanced precautionary security hold and a manual review to prevent any fraudulent and/or suspicious activity during processing.

IMPORTANT: We are required by law to review and flag all suspicious activity, which also contributes to your own protection.

In the same way that it takes a little longer for a restaurant to prepare your meal when it’s full or when you request lots of items; the time it takes for your withdrawal request to be authorized depends on the withdrawal amount, frequency and the withdrawal address. But rest assured, we will be working around the clock to get this done for you.

IMPORTANT: Withdrawals can only commence processing after you have successfully confirmed your withdrawal. You can do this by clicking the confirmation link in the email that will be sent to you following the submission of your withdrawal request. We’ve added this additional layer of security just in case you change your mind or accidentally made the initial request.

Please note: For security reasons, the link will only be valid for 20 minutes. If you don’t confirm your request by clicking the link in the email in that time, your request will be automatically cancelled. If you miss the deadline, you will need to re-initiate the withdrawal request in your Dashboard.

As an additional security measure, we highly recommend whitelisting your address/addresses. IMPORTANT: You will not receive a confirmation email for a whitelisted address.

To keep your slice of the Bake safe, two-factor-authentication is required for all withdrawals.

IMPORTANT: As soon as your request has been initiated, our speedy team of experts will get to work on processing your request. It will take a little bit of time, so we kindly seek your understanding that our support team will not be able to answer any withdrawal support queries/tickets within the 72-hour time frame.

They say good things come to those who wait. But don’t worry, you won’t have to wait long. All withdrawals are processed within 72-hours.

Bake has specific security protocols in place for the benefit of clients, implementing best practices protecting customer assets and adhere to local regulations for suspicious and fraudulent activity checks. We constantly strive to strike a balance between speed and security. These security measures have allowed us to identify fraudulent withdrawal requests in the past, and to enhance security standards even further for our users.

For Security and Compliance purposes, withdrawals may be flagged at random for additional review/verification.
